The Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur is a 5-star, 33-story hotel located within the 8.95-acre KL Midtown integrated mixed-use development, which is part of the KL Metropolis master plan and supports the nearby MITEC convention center.
The building consists of five basement car park levels, two sub-basement levels, a podium with six facilities floors, and a tower component above. The tower houses 17 guestroom levels, eight serviced suite levels, and a rooftop facilities floor.

Hyatt Regency offers 410 guestrooms, including 306 hotel guestrooms and 104 serviced suites. The hotel also provides a range of facilities, such as the Market Café, a Japanese restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, the Regency Club, a lobby bar, outdoor swimming pools, a fitness center, and meeting spaces, including an 11,000-square-foot grand ballroom.
The tower’s façade is inspired by the renowned local pewter craft and colonial-influenced architecture, featuring a repetition of balusters and pilasters. As a result, the façade incorporates a series of triangular pilasters made from textured stainless steel and stone-patterned aluminum, creating a shimmering effect from all angles of the tower without obstructing views from inside. At the podium, hotel guests are greeted by a grand glass canopy with 750mm-deep aluminum baffles at the drop-off area.
The interior design draws inspiration from the intricate woodcraft and timber screen elements of traditional local houses and buildings, which are reflected throughout the podium spaces.
