Driven by SAA’s design philosophy, ‘Urbanistic, Humanistic and Optimistic Architecture’, the design intention for Sunway South Quay is to unite the site potentials with its ecological and cultural context to offer a richness of urban opportunities and a robust framework with carefully designed public spaces.

Realized as an ambitious Civic Vision for Sunway Resort City, it delivers quality urban environments to accommodate future growth and change within a sustainable development framework.

In SAA’s proposed design, a retail podium framework base is composed with various tower components using character zones, nodes and linkages to acknowledge the difference in adjacent buildings, and capitalize on unique waterfront conditions. The result is a sympathetic new environment that is rooted in the site’s unique geography, sustainable and green, as well as social, active and urban.
